Our initiatives focus on child development, education, psychosocial well-being, women&#8217;s empowerment, social inclusion and community development, with the aim of creating sustainable and positive change for vulnerable individuals, families and communities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading ext-animate--on\">Our Projects <\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading ext-animate--on\">BRIDGE<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">BRIDGE \u2013 Promoting Inclusive Education and Preventing School Segregation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The BRIDGE project was implemented by the Kor\u00e7a Institute for Development of Children (KIDC) at \u201cNaim Frash\u00ebri\u201d School in Kor\u00e7\u00eb, with the aim of promoting inclusive education, preventing discrimination and school segregation, and strengthening equal opportunities for all children, particularly Roma and Egyptian students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The project focused on fostering an inclusive and supportive school environment through educational activities, awareness-raising sessions, interactive workshops and dialogue involving students, teachers, parents and school representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">Through participatory activities and discussions, children were encouraged to develop mutual respect, empathy, cooperation and positive relationships, while teachers and parents were engaged in promoting diversity, inclusion and equal treatment within the school community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative contributed to raising awareness of discrimination and segregation, strengthening cooperation among school stakeholders and encouraging a more inclusive educational environment where every child feels respected, valued and supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Funding and Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\">The BRIDGE project was implemented by KIDC with support from the European Union and the Council of Europe, through the joint action \u201cAdvancing the Protection from Discrimination in Albania\u201d, under the \u201cHorizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and T\u00fcrkiye\u201d programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Implementation Location:<\/strong> \u201cNaim Frash\u00ebri\u201d School, Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Albania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ext-animate--on wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Implementing Organization:<\/strong> Kor\u00e7a Institute for Development of Children (KIDC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large ext-animate--on\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/kidcalbania.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ICON2798.jpg-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kidcalbania.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ICON2798.jpg-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/kidcalbania.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ICON2798.jpg-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kidcalbania.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ICON2798.jpg-18x12.jpg 18w, https:\/\/kidcalbania.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ICON2798.jpg-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/kidcalbania.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/ICON2798.jpg.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KIDC develops and implements projects in partnership with national and international institutions, donors and civil society organizations.
